Good morning, Vagabonds. After getting my flu shot, I took the subway to Bryant Park and hung out. I was supposed to meet a friend who lived nearbye; he kept asking me if I want to eat at a Turkish restaurant in Queens but I was in no mood to travel there and as he talked about food, a vanilla milkshake came into my mind. Finally, I returned home by subway and added sugar to a glass of milk and had my “milkshake” with a slice of bread with peanut butter, margareine and a bit of honey. It was delish!

Morning, Vagabonds. We’re really excited about getting to see our German friends this weekend. We’ll be picking them up at the Houston airport on Saturday.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Well, Blaze had his tests yesterday, but we won’t get the results until tomorrow. That’s when we will know if he needs a special diet (which automatically means both cats will be on that diet because I can’t feed them separately). In the meantime he’s on antibiotics. My retired veterinarian friend told me the best thing is to confine him for a few days until he doesn’t associate his litter box with pain any more. He’s not happy about it. He’s outside in the catio right now, but keeps banging on the closed window to get in. He spent the night confined in the bathroom with food, water, a litter box and a big fluffy towel to sleep on. He peed on the towel. (Heavy sigh.)

Glorious weather here. Mid 80’s in the daytime and low 60’s at night. The only time I close up is when I have to leave the house for a while.
