Rover’s a kid…he’s just wearing a dog costume!

And milky bones are for dogs; as well as slippers, newspapers, rugs, and….that box of Trix.

At least Rover is smart enough to know the loophole that a baby goat is also called a kid!

I used to love Trix..that and Sugar Pops.

Wow, an actual trademark in this strip? Well, I guess they mentioned Tang before.

Go ahead and swallow this mouthful, Red. Rover is just “kidding”. Don’t let him get your goat…

“New” Trix in a strip that takes back in the 50’s/60’s? Original was 3 colors/flavors. Raspberry red, Lemon yellow and Orange orange. I can still see and hear the commercials in my head. No green purple or blue like the new formula.

And all of those food colors/chemicals YUM!
