How about Africa’s little “fun groups”? Drug lords in Mexico, Colombia etc down south? Or our and other “first world” nations sticking our higher tech fingers into the gene pool of deadly “diseases” around the world???

Sometimes the truth is unpleasant, sometimes disgusting. And you have the same option to leave America; if Ruff and his/her free speech bothers you so badly, feel free to ship out. Good luck finding a place where people who think differently than you do will keep quiet just to make you happy.
I do not support ISIS in any way. But I can recognize their theater. There is a reason why they dressed the reporters they beheaded in the same orange jumpsuit that we use for our “guests” at Guantanamo.
Europe isn’t pretending it doesn’t exist, it’s simply refusing to admit it was a primary cause of it, at least the former colonial powers were. However, since the US decided, mostly in its self-interest, to be Europe’s defender and world policeman after WW-II (which had devasted European industry, production etc), Europe was quite happy to prosper under a largely US protection umbrella while the US threw its weight around the world in order to benefit itself. The Cold War meant proxy wars in Africa (my backyard), Asia, South America and the Mid-East…Western nations have pretty much had its way for a very long time. You wanted an empire, now deal with the consequences. As our Turkish colleague above said:“Ne ekersen onu biçersin.”
Asking people to leave the country because they tell you the truth? You, perhaps, would be happier in Russia; where free speech isn’t protected by a constitution.
In reference to some of the comments above: Yes, there is evil, and many groups and nations out there with agendas counter to ours. We don’t have to yield to these primitive butchers, but it would be in our own interest to weigh our actions with some more forethought. Drones are an excellent weapon for taking out elusive enemies. Yet, they have made some mistakes. Our “surgical strikes” by aircraft have sometimes hit the wrong target. Whenever WE make a mistake, our enemies make sure everyone knows about our “deliberate” attack. When THEY execute hundreds of surrendering Iraqi soldiers, does that reach muslims around the world? Sometimes, one must fight fire with fire, but we can rebuild our reputation throughout much of the world if we think before charging in. And try to make fewer “mistakes”. When our planes drop bombs on an Iraqi wedding party, we just helped our enemy’s recruitment.
Another thing.I scroll through GOOGLE EARTH every once in a while. Over my town, I can zoom over my house, see my pick-up in great detail, and my neighbor’s dog on my front lawn. I can even see the mailbox! And these photos are not taken by our best satellites!.We undoubtedly have our best satellites over Russia and China. If I were a presidential advisor, I would push to have some of these spy-in-the-sky focused upon the area where these beheadings are believed to have taken place. Find these masked, black-robed muslim sadists, confirm identity, and take them out!
