The new Alice film (I saw it yesterday, loved it!) is such a commentary on the human condition, whether Victorian or present day. On the one hand you have the Red (Queen or States) that rules by fear and bloodshed. On the other side you have the gentle but mad people. Mad people are so much more interesting.
