I have a pair of plastic wine glasses that are perfect for travel. You can’t tell they are plastic until you touch them, so they look so romantic sitting on a table.
Those ’Wine Inna-Box" things are pretty good, as most bars have them, but getting the dam spigot out and mounted has caused blood and curses, so now I just take the bag out and prop it up on the refrigerator shelf and off we go !
We used to bring long stemmed crystal glasses in our picnic basket when we went to concerts at Woodland Park Zoo. They made a nice ring when we toasted :~)

Many quality wines have gone to screw top closures. It’s superior to cork,

Cork is in short supply. Even “cork” is now some plastic material now. Yup, bring some wine glasses, motel glasses aren’t “romantic”!
