Good morning, Vagabonds. I still haven’t met my Australian cousin yet. Too many things have gotten in the way, including a visit from a Colombian friend who came to say “Goodbye” as he’s returning to his country for the winter. I made a delicious spaghetti and veggie burger for him and my roommate’s brother, who complained he disn’t want to eat the food his mom made for him.

An interesting story about my Australian cousin’s great grandmother (she has many descendants): She left her bridegroom, who was her uncle (Uncle-niece marriages were common with Eastern European Jews) and each married someone else. because of this story, told to me by my mother’s cousin, the daughter of this reluctant bride, I was able to trace my ancestry back one generation further, beyond the abandoned bride groom.

Good morning Vagabonds. One more nice day and then the temp. drops on Sunday. I don’t know if I will have to start wearing long pants again. Haven’t had to for six weeks and that was to go to a wake.Slowly feeling better, not quite so tired, and my stomach is feeling better.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Arthur, my husband wears shorts year round…….even when he shovels snow. However, when he’s going to be outside quite a while with the firewood, he’ll wear jeans. The only time he wore long pants in the last 3 years was to 3 of our kids’ weddings. He just feels more comfortable. I, on the other hand, wear jeans, long johns, sweatshirts all winter long.

Rita, you and Jack are just the opposite of Michael and me. I’m the one who’s always hot and he’s the one bundled up in a sweatshirt in a 78 degree house.

David, your plan for the day sounds a lot like mine. We are going to spend some time playing the new update of World of Warcraft. They’ve changed a lot in anticipation of the new expansion pack. The animation is better and the characters (player characters) are more fluid and expressive.

72 degrees at the moment (8:30 AM) and overcast. It’s supposed to get up to about 85 today, but we’ll see. Perfect weather for the “Race for Life” this morning.

Ok, Mark. Let’s try this one (from an article I read on Yahoo this afternoon:

Name 5 male and 1 female actors that served during World War II, not necessarily in the armed services.

Good morning, Vagabonds. I really hated to dump my remaining VHS tapes in the garbage; a friend who I haven’t seen in ages told me he wants them.

Morning, Vagabonds. My plans to veg out all day yesterday went awry. We went down to the church and worked on sermon preparation, children’s sermon preparation, Sunday School preparation, and printed today’s bulletin. Oh, well.

Arye, that’s usually the way it is. No-one says anything about it until it’s too late.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I have a list of 17 men and 2 women who served in WWII. Any guesses?
