Goodmorning, Vagabonds. Rita, in answer to your question yesterday: It’s easier to use public transportation in New York. In Miami the buses are so infrequent that I spend more time waiting for a bus than traveling in it once it arrives. The advantage of Miami is it’s not necessary to climb long flights of stairs to reach a train.

My mistake on Mionday was that I went to two different stores each far away from the other and, although, I have a good idea of how the bus routes in the Bronx run, I made the wrong choice of bus routes.

    Good Morning, All Vagabonds,

Today is the first Cancer Support Group meeting I’m able to attend in AGES! We have been traveling so much that I’ve missed so many! It will be good to catch up on everyone’s happenings. We do keep in touch with emails, but hugs in person beat the written word in this case.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, nothing like a good hug. We have a lot of great huggers at my church. It makes Sunday mornings (and Wednesday nights) even better.

Did I ever tell you that there are two men at my church that remind me so much of my two brothers that it is like having my family with me every Sunday? Somehow I don’t miss Rick and Don so much with Ty and Jim around.

Mid-sixties last night, due to get up to around 85 today. I will keep everything open as long as I can stand it.

I made those kraut dogs on Sunday, and my house still stinks of sauerkraut. It’s a good thing I can keep things open!

My birthday is tomorrow. One step closer to retirement age.

I just discovered that the stink in my kitchen was not the sauerkraut. Somehow one of my stove burners got left on low with no flame. As far as I can figure, it has been leaking gas into my kitchen for several days. Thank God that the weather has been such that all the doors and windows have been open most of the time since last Thursday. If we had left the house closed up, it could have been a real disaster.

This is not the first time that God has saved my life. I am overwhelmed at the moment, joyful and so scared that I am shaking while I type this.
