When TV was analog, you cold still hear the audio with some hiss. The screen was snowy, but you could still follow what was on the screen. A severe thunderstorm came through with tornadoes and caused multipath interference The TV couldn’t find the MP stream and the screen was stuttering or blank. We couldn’t follow the tornado warning.
