Hi ho Vagabonds..Been a dull day, it’s brightened up a couple of times..As far as gas is concerned we’er in the 3.50 to 3.60 range. (David, you think you could send me a couple tanks worth) :-).I’m thinking of an actor:.A burly, handsome and rugged character actor, he appeared in over 200 movies and TV shows over a career of 40 years.A lot of his rolls were villians in westerns and si/fi.He’s best known for his roll as Sheriff Ep Bridges in the shadow of “Waltons” Mountain.1920 – 2010.Ok, have a real good weekend..ttfn
Just got back from the Farmer’s Market. You can tell the summer is winding down, only a few “farmers” left with any veggies. :((
Mark, I had to look up your “burly, handsome and rugged” character actor……….didn’t know him, and the only role I remember him from was as the Mayor from The Enforcer. Never got around to watching the Waltons.
Mark, I had to look him up, too. IMDb didn’t even have a photo of him. I found one, though and his face is not familiar. I see that he was in “The Poseidon Adventure” and we just watched that just a week ago. Still not familiar. His name is similar to the boy who played Mark McCain on “The Rifleman”, so at first I thought it might have been him, but he’s too old to have played that part. (The boy was also one of the original Mousekateers.)
Good morning, Vagabonds. I phoned a coin dealer in Miami that I have visited several times in the past (I don’t collect coins, I just needed to buy a coin holder as a gift for a friend in Yucatan who collects coins. It turned out it was the same thing that holds photographic slides). He told me he has “dozens” of Indian head pennies and offered me $5. Oh well, if I hold onto it my heirs will throw it out along with my clutter. Besides, I should give half of what I make on the sale to my roommate’s brother since he gave me the penny with his other 50 cents.
Speaking of “Fifty Cents,” he was filming in front of my building on Friday.
Watched a good older movie last night…….Spielberg’s “Always”……and Audrey Hepburn’s last movie. Good tear-jerker, and great photography………….especially the opening sequence. I’m sure you can find it on You Tube.
Good morning Vagabonds..Sunny and nippy..Congrats woodworker on 80 good years. I’m amazed I’ve made it to 61!.John Crawford is the man I was thinking about. Some years ago I began to notice a familiar face popping up on this show and that show, he was in the Star Trek episode “Galileo Seven”. He was a good actor, but never a star..The Autumnal Equinox Is tomorrow, fall is in the air and soon the leaves will be on the lawn. :-).ttfn

Good morning, Vagabonds. My air conditioner is finally taking a rest – I hope it means my electric bill will go down.

Morning, Vagabonds.
How about the price of gas? Wall’s-Marts was selling it at 2.99 yesterday.

Good morning, Vagabonds.
I haven’t bought gas for a couple of weeks, so I don’t know, David. $2.99 sounds pretty good at the moment.
Nothing on the agenda today. Temp is about 80, on it’s way to 95.

A little under the weather this morning. I will watch the church service on my computer today.
