Good morning, Vagabonds. I’m up to the reign of Czar Paul in my Russian history book. Who was his real father: Ivan III or Catherine the Great’s lover?

@Thanks, David. Those letters aren’t used to make Turkish words. I had to teach my Turkish friends, even those in PhD programs, how to pronounce a word with a W in it by beginning to pronounce U followed by a vowel. In the new Azerbaijan alphabet Q is pronounced like a G and X has a gutteral sound.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Spent a while yesterday at the hospital doing an ultrasound/mammogram to figure out what the “new” lumps in my remaining breast were. They were benign!!!! Thank God!!!! I was so nervous. Didn’t want to go through cancer again! I thought I’d been doing all the right things with change in diet, etc. Sooooooo…….. I go back to see my doctor this afternoon, and maybe he can give me the right words about what is causing these lumps. (old age, right?)

    I’ll report back tomorrow. :))

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

That cake was such a great hit yesterday, I will make one for our next Village pot-luck.
