Yeah, let’s go with Christie because he has actually accomplished something; dangerously tying up traffic, crony contract awards, tamping down his state’s economic growth, etc.

I’m reminded of the old advice to corrupt politicians: Don’t say yes when a nod will do. Don’t nod when a wink will do. Don’t wink when doing nothing will do.
In Current Occupant’s case: Don’t do anything when a speech will do. Don’t give a speech with a sound bite will do. Don’t give a sound bite when doing nothing will do.
If current trends hold neither party will get anyone who has actual ideas through the selection process. What we’ll get is someone who’s adapt at flying under the radar.
I’m going to put this badly and will gladly be corrected by someone who knows this better than I, but somewhere in the laws of physics it states that lack of energy input into a system inevitably results in chaos. That law is now known by the symbol “DC”.
Don’t think for a moment that I wasn’t scathing about Bush II. But even his biggest mistakes don’t come up to the level of a president whose entire purpose has been to make America less American.
What’s going on in Iraq right now would never have happened if Bush and Cheney had not toppled the Hussein regime. If Carmen is trying to imply otherwise, she’s foolish.
