Possibility: He picks Beatriz, but Baldo is chivalrous and quits so she can keep feeding her family.

It won’t be Beatriz. After all she gets paid less so it makes sense to keep her on.

Baldo’s going to get the pink slip because he’s under rated by the boss. However, after a week, he’ll discover that it was Baldo who did all the work after all, and he’ll beg him to come back.

The original list had a Harold & Frank on it as well. Where the heck are they now?

I say get rid of the two-faced back-stabber who tried to inch Baldo out of the door. There are WAY too many of his kind in the work place.

I figure Baldo will be leaving. It’s time for a new story line. Where will he work next? At his Father’s shirt shop?

Time for the workers to rise up and throw out the boss

drickard: In most production co-ops, management is just another employee and can be thrown out by the owners (other employees). In the Scott Bader Commonwealth variant, the highest paid worker cannot make more than five times that of a newly hired janitor.

Is Mr. Rod looking at the fourth wall in that last panel?
