really this doesn’t involve Arlo or Janis. Gene is only marginally involved. Gus, Mary Lou and Meg are the main people concerned.

Susie is right! Arlo was eating enough for two people — stuffing himself, in fact. In this part of the story line, wouldn’t you think Arlo and Janis would talk to each other about the “Dock” BEFORE they came down for breakfast? With the bedroom door closed so no one could overhear them?
