Good morning, Vagabonds. I’m glad my friends liked Mardan because they invited him to a lot of things like seeeing the Statue of Liberty (an outing I’d be physically incapapable of going to) as weall as restaurants, etc.
It gave me time to take everything out of my portable closet, find things ’ve been looking for for years, throwing out what I no longer needed and putting everything back in order so I know where everything is.
Good morning again.I posted earlier but it somehow vanished. Another nice day today and will be the rest of next week.
Went out dancing last night. Didn’t do too many, only slow ones. Between her hip and my knee we weren’t able to.At least she got out to listen to the music and to see friends.
Goooooooooood morning Village..Cool and cloudy in the kingdom..Well this lame brain of a computer of mine wouldn’t let me stay on IMDb long enough to get any info on Robin Williams..Soooooooo, I’ll simply ask you to tell your favorite Robin Williams movie or TV show..For me I really liked “The Bicentennial Man” and of coarse “Aladdin”..Everybody enjoy your weekend..ttfn
May have some showers this morning but then good weather.Going to buy a new dishwasher today as it is tax free weekend. Our old one was still working after 21 years, but with some problems so it was time for a new one.I am expecting my grandson to come over this morning and reformat my computer. It needs it badly as it is so slow that you can take a nap waiting for it to do things. I just hope he didn’t forget.Hope you all have a good Sunday.
While I loved “Mork and Mindy”, my favorite Robin Williams film was “Awakenings”. It was basically a true story, and he did an outstanding job as the doctor. Robert De Niro played one of the patients with catatonia, as did Anne Meara. Oh my, I have such a long list of movies Williams made that I enjoyed. It was hard to choose a favorite.
Back to high heat and low humidity here in the desert. Normal, I guess. Only about a month more to wait for the cooler fall weather.
What I liked about “Awakenings” is that Williams proved he could act. This is such a rare commodity for actors these days, but Williams demonstrated that he could do a serious part as well as a funny one.
First, I must say Good Bye to Mardan. I hope you had a good time with Arye, and enjoyed your visit. Safe travels!
Then, as to a favorite Robin Williams movie, I guess it would be Hook. It was a light movie, and the transformation of his character was typical of his talent. There are so many favorites, like everyone else was saying.
Just read that Maureen O’Hara is 94 today. So…………..what is your favorite Maureen O’Hara movie?
Good afternoon Vagabonds..It’s midday, but, looks more like twilight..Some good and interesting choices of Robin Williams movies.Well time to eat here in the east, and bon voyage Mardan..ttfn

Good morning, Vagabonds.
Lazy day here, too. I’m not planning much except a visit to Wal-Mart.
