Beautiful day yesterday here on our NJ barrier island. Today is supposed to be a stinker … hot and humid.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Today is supposed to go to mid 90’s and humid with a T storm in the early evening, as the front goes through, and then rain tomorrow, if you can believe them. LOLHave a good day and I’ll look in later.

Good morning, Vagabonds. yesterday I got to JFK just in time. My friend Mardan had just cleared Immigration an got his baggage. We took the Q10 bus to Kew Gardens, Queens where a friend of mine met us and drove us to a Turkish restaurant in sunnyside , Queens. I had lahmahcan, which is like Turkish pizza and my friend who drove us has kufta and Mardan had shishlik; yum yum. I was full (I’m not used to eating a big meal at night). Now Mardan is sleeping off his jetlag. Today we are invited to a big Iftar dinner at the Turkish Cultural Center. Iftar is when Muslims break their Ramadan fast.

    Morning, Vagabonds.

Good morning, Mardan, and welcome to our little community here at Benetin y Eneas!

Hot and muggy hardly describes it here in southeast Texas. Just being outside and staying absolutely still results in being drenched in sweat.

Got a funeral to go to this morning. The mother of my piano player passed away last Sunday. Thank God for our Christian hope!

Rita, you had all the right answers in my quiz yesterday.

Supposed to get above 110 for the next few days here in LV. I think I’ll stay home.
