We used to do a “Can-Opener.” Like the cannon ball, but with one leg extended. Always got the HIGHEST splash!
He either talks faster than the Micro Machine Man or falls really slowly. Could be either one in this comic.

There most certainly is.
Not in the sense of dives, but our tactical nuke was the LANCE missile (Which I worked on), and “Atomic Annie” was our cannon that fired a nuclear artillery shell.
