Looks like we’re finally heading to see whats up with Gene and family. Hope Arlo doesn’t get Janis too mad before they get there.

Great! An update on Gene, Mary Lou and Meg. And a possible bonus if we learn more about Gus’ impending retirement.

Guess I’ve been absent from the strip too long. When did Gene grow up?

I agree with Arlo. It’s a heck of a lot easier to keep the house clean without children at home, not that I don’t love them.

If you want to see me, come any time. If you want to see the house, make an appointment.

Why do we never see Arlo working anymore? As in, his PAYING job? Or did I miss something, and he’s retired?

I think Gene & family ought to sell their house and move in with Arlo & Janis! Anyone else think this would be a good idea?

Clean houses are okay, I guess, if you don’t want to live there. Otherwise, you need places for all your stuff: projects, hobbies, reading material — if not electronic..I have heard, however, of folks who set aside rooms for showcases to be seen rather than used..Whatever makes you happy …

My house has been clean once or twice. After my folks left, things got back to normal. You guessed it right; I’m single.:-)

I have a special sign that says it all….Welcome to my loose interpretation of clean..Still doesn’t change to fact that I feel like I’m being inspected.

ARLO! HER HOUSE IS ALWAYS CLEAN!!

Meg is getting pretty old now. Need something to stir the strip up. Maybe another belly bump.

But this isn’t about Gene, Arlo. This is about Mary Lou’s first evaluation of Mother-in-Law.

My house is clean enough to be healthy, dirty enough to be happy. :-)

A pile for everything and everything in its pile. We just heard that yesterday (but I’ve already forgotten where, fercryinoutloud!) and it cracked my husband up. He decided it’s his new motto.

Is it my imagine, or are they making Janis kind of silly and fussy lately?
