I do not speak for Mr. Lind, but I believe that his point was that Republican policy makes for more poor people, therefore more federal aid is given to states run by Republicans.
Sorry Molon, the proof is in the figures. Over all, during the last House of Representatives Congressional election there were more than one million Democratic votes for representatives throughout the US than there were Republican votes. Yet somehow, there are still more House of Representative Congress People that are Republicans. How is that even mathematically possible without some kind of voting chicanery on the part of the Republicans??
