Huey: Do you celebrate Kwanzaa, Mr. Dubois? Thomas: Why, of course. I'm in touch with my African roots, brother. Huey: Wow, all seven days? That's admirable. So you have the mkeka and kinara and stuff? Thomas: Uh...yeah..we got all that,uh-huh. Huey: And the nguzo saba? Thomas: Oh boy...yeah, ummm, sure! Sarah makes nguzo with nice lemon-butter sauce. It's tasty. Huey: Nguzo saba are the seven principles... Thomas: OK, OK! Look, I light a candle, wear a dashiki for an hour, and call it a day. Happy?!

If you can celebrate Christmas by setting up an artificial tree two days prior, handing out presents the day of, and then sleeping the rest of your day off, then you can celebrate Kwanzaa how Dubois does it.
