There’s one in every camp

That Mable, always scaring the little saps.

X … it’s OK….They know her bark is worse than her bite.

“Say, where’s Twiggy?”“Last I saw she was tending the fire.”

Dang, now I’m hungry……

I had a girlfriend who used to love having syrup dripped on her…… But that is a story for another day….

Actually, looking at their “haircuts”….those campfires must be scarier to them than any human “vampire” with a bucket.

TMI Varnes… TMI.

Of course,none of it sounds that scary to us, sitting home on our computers…

But on a dark night, way out there in the sticks…they’re rooted to the spot.

That’s how their interest in oral tradition is kindled…hope they maintain their fire after the branch library opens.

I assume those are sugar maple trees

Not only that, but they get their hooks into you first!

The two young ones look scared enough that they maple an all nighter…
