I have long suspected that Jim is misspelling his last name… there appears to be an incorrect vowel in there.

Yes, thank goodness he’s listening to advice. I don’t know what the cartoonist would have him do: rush in and help… whom? We’ve never had allies in Iraq, and we certainly don’t now. It’s like the conservatives: they refuse to say what Obama should do, because they want to see what he does first so they can complain that he didn’t do the other thing.

I think Morin can be critical of Obama once in a while without being considered a traitor. He’s not one of these knee-jerk types who thinks everything he does is evil — this is just a comment on style, as much as anything.
