So this is what dogs talk about when they are sitting on the lawn? Well, maybe just on Ballard Street. Twinkly Lights – love the Batman and Robin. Sorry you had a bad day at the Dr. – hope not too, too bad. StelBel – love Max in his little tie. Looks ready for work! Susan – love the slicker. It looks good on Stel
@LadyKat, I think you forgot the cardinals. Down here in Phoenix I see few robins, but we have some that are rather ubiquitous (finches, sparrows, chickadees, starlings, crows) and we have the great-tailed grackles, cactus wrens, flickers and towhees. Once in a great while I see a cardinal (just because I am always looking. Further from the city, when camping we may see many more varieties. Boyfriend watches for them too, as he knows it interests me.
That is because they are all over my place here in Fort Worth. We use to be over full with squirrels….now its Robins. The ebb and flow of nature.Texas Style.

The cats in our neighborhood usually chase them off the lawn… Oh, wait…they meant a different Robin!

Lots of robins where we are, along with bluejays, phoebes, finches, sparrows, chickadees, starlings, crows, gulls, ducks and geese.

Morning, Doh….
You guys are getting up…. I’m still up…. waaay too late….
Rustyboy and his brother have lived on Ballard Street a long time…. they’re saving up for a little place of their own where they can retire.
They love reminiscing about the old days…. when everything was better, bigger, cheaper, or more plentiful.
Just like we do.
Dog food was 10 cents a can…. cats ran away when you barked at them….and the birds….the birds filled all the trees…. remember?

Is it OK?

You don’t see as many robins this year…Not surprising, since we ate all of them
