Come on, man — not just a cheap shot but an illogical and unfair one. He’s taking that issue on, and married priests would be a very solid contribution to establishing a more sexually healthy culture among the priesthood.
It is a cheap shot, especially when kids are more likely to be sexually abused by their Protestant minister or their school teacher than by their Priest. AND sexual abuse in the Church in America is practically nil now. Pope Francis has also personally sent violator priests packing. YES, CHEAP SHOT!!!
If anything, I want to see if Pope Francis sticks to his word and actually punishes Priests who commit these horrid crimes, or do what his predecessors did and sweep it under the rug.
Celibacy is perhaps the dumbest religious policy on the planet, period. This is especially so when all forms of birth control, and abortion, are condemned. But the ’toon may be nasty, yet it just points out the facts that actually result in large part because of this idiotic teaching.
But the cartoon is not about normal married men. It is about the celibacy of the Catholic priesthood and the difficulty of keeping such men pure in thought, word, and deed!

(Think the Crusades, the refugee camp murders in Lebanon orchestrated by Israel, or the ludicrous homicide of a woman because she love a man not of “the faith”)
