Can’t help but relate Phoebe and Max to my boyfriend and me. He’s a science geek and can explain loads of stuff, and I enjoy the things that explode. <3

They ought to tie a camera with a parachute under the balloon before letting it go so they can record the “kaboom”.

The gray shading today has a “plaid” appearance that I’m guessing Dana did not intend.

There is an alternative. Helium atoms pass through rubber; the balloon could lose sufficient helium pressure to maintain buoyancy.

@timharrod: She’s away from her usual computer this week, and hence her usual presets. It looks like the halftone shading she’s using is causing a moiré effect when it’s resized.

I have looked up the origins of the name Simpson, and it has English/Scottish roots. Dana Simpson must be celebrating her Scottish heritage all this week with the plaid shadings.

I would think it would slow down, because the colder they become, the less active the atoms.

I dunno, Nena taught me they tend to bunch up and start nuclear wars or something. My perceptions have been challenged.

sometimes it gets stuck in a tree and a magical girl - (who lives in a house which travels through time and space, guided by talking dandelions) - climbs up and retrieves it.
