    Love me some paninis!

I started on Windows, switched to Mac (my business did), and loved it. Now they’ve switched back to Windows, and I’m crying. If only Mac would go a little cheaper.

Love subscripted by dollars isn’t love. It is just a passing respect for convenience.

I’m a PC and I love my computer.

I’m not a Mac and I’m not a PC. I’m a human being and I like my hand tools, acoustical musical instruments, and hard bound books with acid-free paper and leather covers. Computers are cool for reading comics our local rag won’t carry, though.

The computer is our Universal Tool.

The application programs are bits, the hardware is the shaft, and the user interface (GUI or CLI) is the handle.

Once the handle fits our hand, most of us just want to get Work done, not fiddle with the tool… but do anyway!

I think it’s wonderful! The iPad is our real life version of the 1960’s Star Trek series’ PADD. It was a portable, cordless device with a screen you could write upon with a stylus. It could be linked with the Enterprise’s library computor, remember? I was wondering if I should ever hope that the utopian technology from Star Trek, their Food Replicators, is on the way too. After seeing this comic, I’m a believer! If only apple could’ve called their device “The Real PADD!” a tie-in with the huge ST franchise would’ve raked in even more money than they’ll get now by calling it the nearest thing to PADD–iPad. .

apple, give us a food replicator next!

    Star Trek Lives!
