If they dressed up like the Fruit of the Loom guys, they’d be very popular in the Yerba Buena neighborhood.

why would not being called a fruit be a lucky thing for someone?….. not a very nice thing to say if you are referring to the old derogatory word for a gay person….meaning : they sure are lucky they aren’t gay…..doesn’t seem fair to make fun of person for something he/she was born with.. I’m surprised uncle joe doesn’t wade in on this one

Thank you, Garry, for reminding me why I dislike Apple Cult-puter. ‘Preciate it.

don’t blame actual apples for the appropriation of their perfection by Beatles and computer logos.

The pod, the phone, the tablet. Each bigger than that which came before. I wonder if the media can handle these two big events on one day. The states of Apple and the Union.

Yerba Buena means Good Herb, quite appropriate for SF

Bob Pease has a rant in the latest Electronic Design about his shiny new MacBook; there are things he wants to do that none of the books explain, and they’re all alike. Recycled Apple text releases.

My experience of the G4 and G5 at work was that they’re not really better than the Wintel world, just different. They still freeze and crash at times (and this was with OSX, based on Berkeley Un*x), bugs are in different places. Some things easier, some harder, and several just puzzling.

sorry, PC, but I can leave my Mac running for DAYS without a discernible loss of capability, whereas by COB my work Laptop has crashed at least 5-6 programs, memory is fragmented, REBOOT REBOOT REBOOT are the internal screams from the motherboard.
