    Oh Carmen. Don’t have a credit card or history? Corporations and marketing took away our privacy a long, long time ago. Government had little or nothing to do with that. All capitalistic, “free” market philosophy. So naive, so sad.

    Privacy is quite a new thing on the scale of human civilization. It’s not essential. May not even be of any benefit. May actually be not a good thing overall.
