Makes me glad I was raised in a family that forbade babytalk, I carry on that tradition with my family.

Is it just my old eyes but is that “baby” enormous. Looks like an 8 year old.

That is one long-limbed baby. Many cartoonists find it hard to get a baby’s proportions, and end up with miniature adults: heads too small, shoulders too broad, and arms and legs way too long.

I think it is a shame to blame the babies for ‘silly talk’ – they learn (very quickly) what they hear. On the other hand, an adult trying to simplify the language – for some reason that escapes me – does sound extremely silly! When an infant can’t repeat a word perfectly it is often adopted and used affectionately by the whole family, which is lovely and a different matter.

If you like the taste of Filet Mignon even a little bit, you are a glutton. Ridiculous!!!

I always spoke baby talk to my little charges, and it didn’t seem to damage their speech. As I fantasize myself saying in court, after I’ve done something outrageous, “I did it, I’m glad i did it, and I’d do it again!”

I like beer. Some years I even drink a six-pack. So by your definition, I’m an alcoholic.-How many ignorant, uninformed statements do you have to make to be considered a troll?

It has been shown that alcoholism is caused by an allergic reaction to alcohol. It has nothing to do with taste. Don’t believe me? Look it up. Start with AA.

I like the taste of Margaritas and I only have them 2-3 times a year. I don’t crave them or think about them any other time and yet I like the taste. I think your logic may be a bit flawed.

-Being an addict has nothing to do with liking the taste of whatever you’re addicted to. It has to do with needing and depending on the EFFECT of it.
