There’s a bit of good advice here.I’m going to propose a new rule for conservatives: anytime you feel compelled to talk about race, back up & think about whether you should be talking about economics. Romney was almost on to something with his “47%” remarks. That 47% is a diverse group. It’s not about condemning the people who are getting aid, it’s about figuring out what we can do so they aren’t dependent on government aid.

As Jon Stewart said, we’ve succeeded to some degree in educating people that racism is bad, but we’ve dropped the ball in “teaching people what racism actually is.”

Its too bad Biden has been excused by the media for his virulently racist remarks.

I love how Jan pretends that the majority of problematic racism comes from conservative whites against the other minorities. I also love how Jan ignores all statistics which demonstrate that many things that are labelled “racist” are actually just statistical facts. As long as there are folks looking for special protections/privileges based on some genetic factor, then there is going to be push back from those on the other side.

@Mr King: Biden and Reid are high level leaders of this country so they should know better. Their comments are ‘virulent’ due to their stature and experience. As for Bundy and Sterling, they are small time kooks who should be ignored (if not jailed).

Newt’s comments are confusing. Where will those “paychecks” come from? Big G perhaps? But that can’t be right, that would contradict Newt’s avowed small G goals. So, again, I’d like to ask Newt where the paychecks will come from.

Jen, I enjoy your ‘toons, but please don’t introduce any more PR/Spin-Doctor firms! Like lawyers, we already have an over-abundant supply!

Sooky Rottweiler says:Come on, humans! I can’t believe there’s still white people out there who think it’s wrong to hang out with black people! If I never hung out with cats, half my buddies wouldn’t even be on my conic strip!

    Look beyond race, humans!

Wow, this cartoon really meant little after the first frame. Nice glue attempt, though.

I wonder what would be worse, racism or homophobia?
