Those were difficult years and we are still stuck in that time wishing to resolve it, somehow, somehow, but no how. The past is stamped with indelible ink.

A little background on Phil, good.

So he wasn’t running from Fritzi and Nancy yesterday. He was running from himself. For some people, that’s the toughest chase in life.

A back story for Phil – looks promising. Of course, to me, Phil will always be the Everyday Hero who, when he discovered he was too short to join up with the Marines, signed up for classes in electronics and welding in order to help out the troops overseas during World War II.

Looks like this arc is gonna be really cool for a Tom Petty fan like me.

Such things in life do happen. Although I’d surmise that in Phil’s case, it’s more so a “kindred” sort of thing, where he knows what Sluggo went through (an aunt who just didn’t want him) as there are some step/natural parents out there who just feel negativity towards a child/children….
