    I order medium with steak. I don’t mind a little pink, but not bleeding. If there is no pink at all, it is overdone. Pork and chicken, of course need to be well done, but they taste just fine that way.

    @pcolli and Strod … ...I prefer mine the third on the left, but will settle for 2nd on the left. I’ll send it back if it’s more than medium rare.

    I don’t understand what it is about steak that people have a hard time accepting different tastes. I don’t like mine rarer than medium rare either and prefer medium. I think it tastes ‘more perfect’ than the so called perfect steak in the chart above. But that doesn’t mean that I begrudge my husband his rare steak or tell him his taste in the matter is more right or wrong than mine.
