naw, the befuddled get dismissed right away. Attorney’s fear they can be influenced by jurors hostile to their side, tho not as much as a bias against client. Do the math. One possibly hostile juror, one vote. One possibly hostile juror flanked by befuddled – two votes and 16% more pressure to side with them..Massive amount of life experience but no experience or interest with type of case being tried is a high demand juror. .If someone’s been selected before they’ll get a lot of questions about how they came to decisions rendering verdict.

Lew probably dismissed as having too much experience with gypsy curses. Thus hostile to plaintiffs looking for the big punitive $.

The high art of jury selection rests on looking past the opinions to spot who will vote for your guy.

Seehttp://www.trialtheater.com/jury-selection/spotting-favorable-jurors-in-jury-selection.htm.for using a talkative hostile to spot other hostiles.

This is the only comic in all of “Ozy & Millie” that I don’t like. Take a guess as to why.

It should be noted that guys like Edwin are also the kinds of voters favored by politicians

@ ArthurAllen: Nope. (Actually, foxes would make excellent lawyers. They’re born cynical.)
