Is it just me or is Agnes overreacting a bit. All he said was “Hi Agnes”. A “Hi Bob, I will never like you” would seem more appropriate, or just a “Hi Bob” and leave it at that. Maybe it could be the way he said it, hard to convey tone of voice via a printed medium.
I’ve never quite been able to understand Agnes’ reaction to Bob. He seems decent enough, pleasant and certainly not overwhelming. On some level, he’s the antithesis of Agnes. Maybe he doesn’t think big enough for her. Hang in there Bob!
