Good morning, Vagabonds. Yesterday, I took my bloodtest for my annual check-up. Then I spent the day choosing which VHS tapes to get rid of. The pile is growing sreadily – this time I will be ruthless. Then my friend visited me and dropped off 3 bags of NY Daily News – wow! More great reading material. He will be the recipient of some of my VHS tapes.
Toward evening I took 2 buses up to Riverdale (a nice neighborhood in North Bronx). Shop n’ Stop had a great sale on pasta and I want to stock up for my Norwegian-Uyghur guest.
Morning, Vagabonds. Last night we watched one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time, “Elephant Man.” It was so riveting, I was literally on the edge of my seat.
Howdy Vagabonds..Looks like a good day today..Yesterday was a very good day, we went out the cemeteries to place flags on the veterans graves for Memorial Day..May you all have a blessed day..ttfn
Well, yesterday was MAGNIFICENT! I had my 6 month check up with my cancer doctor, and all the blood work came back NORMAL! Woo Hoo! All the cancer markers were normal, too. Then, the Dexa Scan I had on Monday was also normal……no Osteoporosis either! What a day! I have my yearly Mammogram today, and will get the results on that late next week. The doctor kept saying I was normal, and I had a big laugh…….me?………..normal?? I asked if I could have that in writing ‘cause my family would never believe it. So, he reached over for a note pad, and wrote: Rita is completely normal! I’m still giggling!
