    Good morning Vagabonds.

Was a beautiful day yesterday at 80 degrees. Got a lot of cleaning up of leaves that didn’t get done last fall. Today is going to be in mid 80’s, then the weather goes bad for most of the week so I’ll try to do some more. Have to get the garden ready to plant the vegetables.

Good morning, Vagabonds. Yesterday the weather was beautiful although the sidewalk was covered with pollen.I’ve been sneezing all week, so I guess I must have developed hay fever.I was mailed a free 60-day trial to BJ and yesterday a friend drove me to the one near Yankee Stadium. It was a hassle; I don’t wanna go there again, although I stocked up on snow-peas, dry cereal and chocolate powder.

Morning, Vagabonds. We had a great weekend. After our mini trip to Central Texas, we had a Mother’s Day picnic on the island with some friends, then went home and took a nice nap. Later in the afternoon we played 9 holes of golf. I did my usual terrible.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

This should be the last of our Canadian Blast………got down to 27 during the night, and only up to 41 yesterday. We had snow all day, only none of it stuck. Supposed to be in the 60’s today and 70’s the rest of the week. Maybe we’ll get to Old Faithful by the end of the week this time.

Mark, I didn’t know that Yankee Stadium is no more! Where do they play now?

@RITA> What Mark means is that the old Yankee Stadium was torn and an exact replica of the original was built a block away. The new replica replaces the refurbished one from the 70s (I belive) and resembles the original one more closely.

PS The reason for building one a block away is because it enabled games to be played in the old stadium while a newer version was being built.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Yesterday was supposed to be around 95 degrees. Instead it didn’t get above 75. Perfect weather for Mother’s Day (if you don’t count the 50 MPH winds all day).
