…if your insurance plan already meets PPACA standards. (Too bad he didn’t say it up front). If not, they’ve been rooking you all along and better plans are available. Especially for the many that didn’t have, couldn’t have and were refused ANY kind of insurance because they became ill or applied with a PREEXISTING condition.
Obama’s so-called “lie” on the keeping insurance thing was incorrect for less than 2% of the population. John Boehner’s and Eric Cantor’s lies (price increases! The end of health insurance! Death panels!) have been incorrect for 100% of the population. There is a difference, and Obama is way, way ahead on truth. And if you want your doctor, you CAN keep him or her; but just as pre-ACA, you may have to avoid the bare-bones plans to do that.
“…..That’s 7,000,000 people who will be voting Republican in 2014 and 2016….”.And of course that’s what’s important. Not about healthcare or saving people’s lives.
Here’s some hard data for you, Scooter: I couldn’t afford health care before the ACA. Now I pay $5.98 a month (19 cents a day!) for a bronze plan and have received a test for colon cancer. Thank you, President Obama! Yep, another Democrat who will be around to vote for a while yet. Sorry, GOP (but not really). Maybe if President Obama instigated some pointless wars you’d like him better…
“….Unless you are elderly, if you are elderly, Obama wants you to take a pill and die….”.Why you insist on repeating that idiotic interpretation of a lengthy, nuanced reply is puzzling, unless you just like losing credibility. Listen to the longer unedited version and you will see that Obama gave a very sensible, sensitive, and realistic answer to a tough question.
Obama gave concessions and delayed deadlines to the 99% as well. Republicans are complaining about the procedure he used in doing so. People are being helped. Improvemnets are being made to what we had as healthcare before. Please for the good of the nation be happy.
YAWN — You can stop lying now, Bob. You and your insurance lobby pals have fooled a lot of people into not getting the affordable coverage. Hope you enjoy paying for their “free” coverage with increased taxes and premiums.
“……The only way to interpret his statement is he wants The Elderly to take pills and die ….”.Only if you’ve made up your mind that’s what you want it to mean. But you are taking a small clip out of context to draw your own conclusions.
Nice, Bruce. Guy whose never-ending font of other people’s money is being choked off makes wild claim with absolutely no documentation and has it passed on by Faux News..Yep, no reason to doubt that. Every other analysis is wrong and he’s obviously got it pegged.

Just like it was before. If your provider wasn’t “in network” you had to go further into your pocket.

“Then the ACA is not an improvement”
Your reasoning is unreasonable.

According to the RAND Corporation, 9.5 million uninsured are covered under ACA, State Health Exchanges and Medicaid.
