Never…. I say never … show the object of your spurned affections your (virtual) soft underbelly….unless you want a sharp jab from his/her (virtual) umbrella.And what is a softer underbelly, to show a would-be hard-as-nails vamp like Agnes, than a nerdy clipboard and a puppydog desire to please?
(Not, I admit, that we get so much better at all this in the next 40 or 60 years….sigh…. )
