A President with a sense of humor, using a method that does seem to be having an effect to get the “younger generation” on board because of this outlet, how tragic, for the idiots on the right.

Typical rightwing foolishness, pretending that “sharing the cost” doesn’t count when it’s higher taxes to support the free treatment of the poor under the current system. It only counts when we reduce that burden with a more equitable system that … oh, what’s the point of trying to explain this to someone who thinks it’s “lib stratgegy”?

Mr. Bok clearly doesn’t understand the concept of insurance. There will always be some who are higher risk and some who are lower risk in the pool. And one thing you can guarantee with health insurance is that you will use it, barring a swift death at a young age.

“Wealth”? “Wealth”? That’s the funniest part of the cartoon.

In a ideal world….In that ideal world people would not be driving expensive cars and buy groceries with food stamps, nor would they have cable TV..I personally have no problem buying a meal for that homeless guy, but I do resent being forced to pay for someone to stay home and watch Oprah and Jerry Springer while I’m working and barely able to make ends meet.

“I, too, hear these stories endlessly repeated yet I know of no studies validating this view. Do you, or is it all hearsay?”.Seen it when I lived in poorer neighborhoods and as a child my father had rental properties and welfare fraud was rampant and generally accepted culturally in those areas..Also I have a friend that was on welfare and she would detail the struggles she had to go through to get an education (the system does not encourage it), which was supremely ironic that once she graduated and got a good job she has probably paid back into the system many times over despite the system’s best attempts to “keep her down”.
