    Here’s a fact, says Winslow and Carmen ignores it. Here’s a fact and it’s ignored. Here’s a fact and it’s ignored. Here’s a fact and it’s ignored.

    Conservative mindset.

I see it as the US Foreign Policy. Winslow will need a bigger stick to make his “Line-in-the-Sand” mean anything. Look around him, sadly, there are no larger sticks out there.

I have to say something about this ‘line in the sand’ thing. I believe we have there an intersection of two colloquialisms with a lack of thought. There is “drawing a line”, indicating the point that cannot be crossed without consequences. And there is “drawing a line in the sand,” which means the line is meaningless because sand shifts and the line will move and disappear. While the “line in the sand” is sadly appropriate to the recent political uses it has had (and the “red line…” is just purely pathetic), it does not mean an immoveable limit.

This is a Conservative oriented comic strip. Why would any democrat knowingly comment on a conservative strip and complain about being mistreated, except to be laughed at?

Picky, picky, indeed!.Yesterday and today, Scott has given us comic strips that are just as great as Prickly City was in the good old days..The banter between Carmen and Winslow – it’s what made this strip great!

Maybe if he made them RED lines they’d be more effective.

Or even just SAID they were red…
