I guess B&T are at least concurring, though.. – Wasn’t sure if there would still be some more “which way should we go?”… maybe now this will get their planning started up, with some encouraging clarity at least on what they’re going for…

This weeks strip has brought back a bad memory for me. Not painful per se. just bad. I had been engaged to be married snf in the beginning I was willing to accept a lot of things she wanted for the wedding until it got to the point where she stopped even asking me what I think. I finally asked her,“What I am expected to do for our wedding. Just stand at the alter like a bump on a log?” and without hesitation she said,“Yes! Weddings are for the bride.” That in essense was a final straw in our relationship. We broke up a short time later with 3 months to go before the wedding date. So I’m happy they’re planning this together.

Depends…. – If Brad doesn’t feel like building himself a doghouse in the yard, then he’s going to be living there, for sure!….. – And Toni will “teach” him the things she learned at “Whotsamatta U?”… – And every day that he messes up, she’ll keep repeating the name of her alma mater…

Cute, Toni, very cute. That should help Brad with any insecurities he may have. I think a small wedding would be fine. After that, you guys are on your own….

To the above comments. Brides still rule the wedding. Today most wedding photographers are female and the brides relate to them better. Not surprised to hear about how Wedding Planners tend to ignore the groom.

Of course size matters, but it’s not the ONLY thing that matters. Just like height matters in basketball, but you do still have to learn skills to win a game.

It’s probably going to be one of the lowest totals of comments for this week’s strips (commemorating the 4/1 proposal) here in the past two years, with this week… which is ironic, since last year this occasion (the actual proposal) produced massive numbers for that time… – I know “AmyGrantFan” is none too happy that there hasn’t been any “nuptials” as of yet….

Toni is really too adamant on a small wedding; it doesn’t seem like her. I wonder what is really bothering her? Does Greg have something up his sleeve?…On the “size” question, most women would be happiest if their partner just focuses on their partner’s enjoyment as well as their own.

Er, wasn’t there a time when this was a family strip? Sad, really. I think, actually, that the engagement will be put on hold for awhile, after the younger ones have graduated. But this couple will get married, continue to be boring, and continue to say things no human beings would say in real life.

Well, we’ve addressed what might occur for the next arc, how about tomorrow? Will it be Frank and Nancy battling tech or the "trappings of growing older’, or will Lu and someone walk through the park “summing something up”, or will it be Crystal wondering why she “puts up with the rest of the universe”?….
