Could this be the ’Boomer’s’ Idea of a first shooter video game? Cool.

Agreed, somebodyshort, though in Wiley’s world the main cause of death seems to be being eaten by a bear.

Marblypup, good point. For all we know, if he were to push the button, it will say “Cue the bear..” You know Wiley’s bears are cute and everything, but I don’t trust ’em……

I think Wiley, like myself, just hates those people who have to press every button more than once. You know it halves the serviceable life of all public buttons.

And, as we all know (or at least suspect) those buttons aren’t connected to ANYthing and the traffic lights just cycle through normally.

@gir63: Yes, yes they do. Therefore these days those buttons are just there for anybody who is NOT a Plugger and who therefore never learned how to cross a street with actual traffic on it, to attempt to draw their attention that they are about to cross a street on which nobody will stop or get out of their way and because, well, cars win.

There are several intersections in New York City where they don’t have the chirping sound to indicate it is safe to cross. As soon as the sign flashes, it is accompanied by the sound of a starter pistol. “Don’t Walk – Sprint.”

How often have we seen this scenario in bad films?“Don’t push the big, red button!”“You mean THIS big, red button?”::: click! :::

Pedestrians allegedly have right of way in a crosswalk, but you getjust as deadd with it as without it when some DWHUA faecal orifice comes barrelling through. dogday88 is right, the car willwin.

Is there a possible connection between this comic and an upcoming “Famous Last Words Cemetery” comic?
