Just about right. A Texas Democrat is as conservative as Texas needs. The Republicans are just plumb nuts, and someone responsible will have to come in to clean up after the damage they’re causing.

It would be more accurate to portray California’s Progressive Leftist nut jobs, and San Francisco in particular, as having a stranglehold on that state’s political idiocy and insanity.

Not only that, but due to the percentages needed in the California State legislature to pass bills, the minority Republicans actually hold most of the total power in that legislature. But, Enoki (who seemingly does not live in California) does not seem to realize this at all.

United we stand, divided we fall. This comic exemplifies willful divided.

Ted Nugent has been in Texas campaigning for one of our local wing nuts running for governor. As if we needed his help.

I don’t think this is limited to Texas.

Reasonable people here in Texas [yes, there are some of us] are embarrassed by the way the nuts have taken over the political process. With their emphasis on God and religion in the schools the Texas GOP is nothing more than Taliban Lite.

Those wingnuts are convincing more and more reasonable people that while the Democrats aren’t perfect, at least they aren’t totally wacko. Added to a whole generation of anchor babies getting old enough to vote, Texas will be purple soon and blue within twenty years. 2016 is pretty much a done deal for the Democrats, since the Republicans are too busy fighting each other to offer a challenge to any of 5-10 Democrats. Their only popular candidate would have been Christie, who is now toast. That brings us up to 2024, since most presidents are reelected. And, with Texas’s thirty something electoral votes, combined with a similar situation going on all over the country, it’s very likely that unless the rational Republicans can rescue their party from the Tea party, there will never be another Republican president.

Ted Nugent “draft-doger”, that should make him pure gold to you guys. After all Bill “pants optional” Clinton runs with that club… or are you just ok with draft dodging rapist and not just plain ol’ draft dodging?.@DLee4144 – You forgot all those people Obama added to the public assistance rolls, votes for Democrats bought and paid for. Add felons (another safe Democrat voting bloc) and no Republican will ever see office again; let alone libertarian.
