David… well, some friends tease and some friends don’t….
But some of us play really rough with some of our very best friends, especially the ones who understand our loathing for sententiousness..I have a very close female friend who tells me often that I’m a horrible person, and I remind her that no one else will be friends with her cos she’s “squatty”.
(The latter came from something unthinkingly said long ago by another person with the tact of a gorilla, and I’ve teased her with it ever since, cos we know it’s not true….well, maybe a little true… if you ever see this, T…LOL )
We both know we could never say that stuff if we weren’t secure in our friendship or thought for a millisecond either of us meant it.
