The perfect counterbalance when shooting darts is to hold a pint in the hand to the back. Than drink after each shot to adjust the counter weight.

There was an old “Mad Magazine” poem parody that began something like:“Come bowl with me this evening, dearAnd we will kill twelve pints of beer”It then continued in that vein, with more food (I seem to recall “a quart of peach ice cream”), and drink, with the bowlers, indeed, putting on weight as they participated in the sport. It ended something like:“Come bowl with me, you really shouldThe exercise will do you good!”
