Actually, you have the senate wing marked “nothing” and the house wing marked “do”. That’s backwards, since the senate has been the more productive body as far as passing legislation, which is then sent to the house to be voted down by the Tea Partiers. Whether you think this is a good thing or not depends on your analysis of the legislation, if you are intelligent, or on what Fox news tells you to think if you are not intelligent. However, since Obama declared that he would use executive orders, and the house Democrats decided to call questions, the rules have changed considerably. The Tea Party’s hold depended on those things not happening, which they wouldn’t have if they had been reasonable. Since they now have an approval rating in the low 30s, they have given control back to the Democrats.
It’s interesting the dittohead mythology regarding our current President, who’s considerably more conservative than Clinton, who was hardly a “liberal”, completely overlooks the original “unitary Executive” guys, “W” and Cheney, who just voiced out lout the base support for “Reaganomcs”. Likewise, when the House passes ludicrous bills, which hit up against REPUBLICAN filibusters in the Senate, it’s all Harry’s fault?
Gressch is right according to how the building is drawn. The House is on the Southern side of the building. The picture seems to be of the Capital’s East side where the visitors congregate. The West side has grass and is Where Obama’s first Inauguration took place.
Bullpuckey. You cannot find a House bill that contains jobs and nothing else. They called their anti-abortion legislation a “jobs bill,” their “prevent the EPA from regulating pollution” bill a jobs bill. None of them produce any jobs. Obama proposed a jobs bill that would have actually, you know, created jobs. The GOP blocked it.

Oh, come on. The Daily Mail? That’s got to be Brittan’s least reputable newspaper.
