    Everyone got more snow than they want – east of the Rockies. From the Rockies west we’d gladly take all of your snow from you. Even the 13K peaks around here barely got covered this year and what little was up there has already mostly evaporated away.

    No, the power is out because the utility company insists on putting transmission wires above ground rather than below it.

    I hear some people can afford the fast interwebs on their phone. Many cell companies have backup generators for their towers. Though you got to love first world problems: only place you are going to find people complaining on a relatively fragile electronic medium about the power being out.

    My indoor/outdoor cats have the same problem. And of course it looks like horses have been laying landmines where the dogs have had to do their thing because of the limited areas for them(4 & 5 ft drifts around the house plus 2-3 ft deep on the rest of the property..).
