    Ah, the days when newspapers came with multiple sheets of full size comics, not a single sheet with the comics much reduced in size that you get today.

    Snoopy’s doghouse includes a Van Gogh painting and a pool table among other things. He probably spends a certain amount of his waking time inside, but of course it would be silly to sleep inside. (There was an old episode where Charlie Brown was worried about Snoopy out in the cold. He and Linus discuss it. Linus says, “I have a suggestion. Why doesn’t Snoopy sleep inside his doghouse?” Both Snoopy and Charlie Brown give Linus a pitying look. Linus, chagrined, says, “You’re right, that was a very silly suggestion.”)
