All religions that attempt to govern are evil for many historical and current reasons. Government is inherently evil, which is why the U.S. Constitution is supposed to limit it.Try again when the sense of the first ten amendments returns to you.
It is those who are farthest from us from whom we withhold our love as we approach death by hypothermia. Don’t feel bad about somebody freezing to death when they can go inside and be warm but just won’t.
That’s what I would have said a couple of days ago, when it was finally starting thawing out over several days, but it’s back once again to below freezing. Not as bad as January, but still… just have to keep reminding myself that at least we haven’t (yet?) had to endure subzero temperatures.
