That was me yesterday because I was out for hours and my cigarette lighter thing in my car blew a fuse so when my honey called me from out of town I talked with the phone on the charger.

I have a cell phone, but I’ll never give up my land-line; if we have a days-long power outage, I want to be able to call people.

I haven’t had this problem yet. But it seems to me this is a good excuse to hang up and blame it on the battery.
