Ha, that is a great inside joke for those in the business!….For others: for some reason dishwashers tend to be similar to Larry, Daryl and Daryl…Good one Jimmy…Score

From yesterday, the Great Lakes are sizable Lakes, and they can have flat water….When they’re not trying to kill you…But they’re not so good for a schooner today….

You’ll find that a not insiginificant percentage of restauarants do have staff that deal recreational pharmaceuticals. I know of two that were within five miles of where I lived. Owner of one sold and got out barely one step head of the Feds.

Other one’s still going strong and is a favored drinking spot for the local PD as well.

    Go figger…

ok, am confused. They are waiting for snowbirds on the Great Lakes? This time of year? Always figured the restaurant was on the coast, farther south.

Here in Florida the snowbirds are just starting to show up, fleeing the bad weather up north. Snowbird has a different meaning around the Great Lakes?

Geeze, guys, the Great Lakes reference was an ironic one, after somebody speculated that they could be on a sizable lake. Seriously, what other sizable lakes are there in this country where it would it even make any sense to have a schooner? Lake Champlain, maybe?

.See the joke is that the Lakes would be frozen now, which they mostly are, so it couldn’t possibly be the Great Lakes..

.But you can’t deny it would be a rough sail on Lake Superior tonight.

And no, not many snow birds anywhere near them this time of year……They all left for Florida to hang out with Canadians and New Yorkers….

bubblehead: When I had my bookstore, I tried to get my daughter interested, without success. I thought an “… and Daughter” name would have had a certain je ne sais quoi class to it.

As a former restaurant manager we always had to watch the peeps who were tight with the dish-pit peeps. On a side note one of our dish guys was a former 1-balled stripper. Interesting guy, interesting back life story, sadly I never got to see him dance but I heard that was interesting too!
